Large Serving Cheeseboard 'Mongo'
To be honest, I wasn't sure how this large serving cheeseboard was going to turn out. I had doubts in the beginning, but I was dedicated to see it through. Boy, was I glad I was wrong. This board is amazing. It brings together the perfect large serving surface and a great weight.
The unique grain patterns from the reclaimed maple, oak, lacewood and walnut truly bring it all together. Due to its size, I decided the only appropriate name for such a monster was 'Mongo.' A little Mel Brooks reference for you:)
The board has a serving area of 8.5"x16", with an extended 14" handle making the whole thing 30" long. Though designed for a professional restaurant setting, it would look great with your homehosting ensemble.
Finished with a food-safe mineral oil, this board is destined to be a family heirloom for generations to come. Pair with one of our cheese knife sets to complete the package.
