It's about time you started thinking about Spring.
We can custom build your beehive needs for less than the shoddy Chinese stuff you see on Amazon and have it up and running in days. We build to order in most cases, but also have a few hives on hand if you can't wait. Contact us for availability. Whether it’s a full hive, just a couple deeps or even a brand new top bar hive we can help you save money. Need a new interior cover? Is your landing board rotting out? Maybe it’s a few nucs to support your bee yard. We can do that. Pick-up preferred, but will deliver locally for free or within 50 miles for an additional $50 fee.

3 Deep Langstroth Hive

Traditional, made-to-order Langstroth beehive. Includes 3 deep boxes, inner cover, top cover, entrance reducer and landing board. Does not come with frames. Frames sold separately.
Each hive is specially built on order, and are mostly crafted of finished 3/4" pine. Other woods might be used depending on supply. Boxes are butt-jointed with additional strengthening from 2 1/2 decking screws. Each box contained rabbited frame rests.
Hives can be treated with poly-urethane on buyer request for no additional cost.
Each component is carefully handcrafted in our Northwood, NH shop, and are available for pickup. We will be happy to deliver within a reasonable distance for local sales.
Custom Built Top Bar Beehive

We love building these custom Top bar Hives. Each is uniquely different, while keeping the traditional specs of old European beekeeping.
Top Bar Hives aren't for everyone, but those who use them swear by them as the greatest thing since the Langstroth design.
Each Top Bar will be different, depending on the materials and specifications provided by the client. Top Bar hives are complete with the body, stand and swinging lid, as well as slotted guide bars for the hanging comb.
Pick hop is preferred on these hives, but we will deliver within a reasonable distance from the shop.
Custom Decorative 3-Deep Langstroth Beehive

With this custom decorative 3-deep Langstroth beehive, we went the extra mile to truly bring a touch of design to your beehive.
Each design on the hive selected for its uniqueness to not only set your hive apart from the others, but to assist in readily identifying which hive is which.
Hive comes complete with base/landing board, inner cover and telescoping outer cover. Frames are sold separately.
Single Deep Starter Langstroth Beehive

Our single Deep Langstroth beehive is perfect for beginner beekeepers or for those looking for a spring swarm trap.
Each comes complete with a landing board/base, a single deep box and a telescoping lid.
Each is made to specs, either as an 8 or 10 frame, and usually crafted of 3/4 in pine. Boxes are butt-jointed with decking screws for extra strength. Hives can be treated with a poly-urethane or painted upon requested for no additional cost.
Hives can be picked up at our workshop, or delivered within a reasonable distance for no extra fee.
Winter-Ready 5-Frame Nuc
PICK UP / DELIVERY ONLY. NO SHIPPING AT THIS TIME.
Crafted of thicker wood (1"+), these hefty 5-framenucs are great all-year-round and are successful in over-wintering smaller beehives. Can be painted or treated with a poly-urethane upon request for no additional cost.
Each nuc is butt-jointed with decking screws for extra strength, with rabbited frame rests a fixed base and landing board as well as telescoping lid. Usually made of pine, but can be crafted of other woods depending on availability.
These winter-ready nuc boxes are made to order and available for pick up, though we will deliver within a reasonable distance.
Langstroth Frames With Waxed Foundation

Why buy in bulk when you only need a few? We can provide you with the exact number of frames, from 1-30+ with you having to spend more money than you have to.
Wooden frames are fitted with waxed foundation for a quicker start and available for pick up. We are happy to deliver within a reasonable distance from our shop.
Wooden Langstroth Frame, No Foundation

There's no need to buy Langstroth beehive frames in bulk when all you need is a few. We offer individual frames priced to save you money, while still ensuring you are receiving top-quality construction.
These frames are ready for wire-harnessing (which we can do for you upon request), and do not contain waxed foundation.
Let us know when ordering if you need deeps or mediums.
These are available for pick up at our workshop, or we can deliver them within a reasonable distance upon request.
Beehive Base with Landing Board

This order is for a base and landing board ONLY, no box.
Sometimes, your base just needs to be replaced, and we can help you with that. Crafted from plywood and pine, usually, depending on the materials at hand, we can get you back up and running.
Let us know the exterior dimensions of your box, not existing base, so we can custom finish a well-fitted beehive base with landing board for you.
Items are available for pick-up at our shop, or we can deliver within a reasonable distance.
Telescoping Beehive Cover

This order is for a telescoping lid ONLY, no box.
Sometimes, your lid just needs to be replaced, and we can help you with that. Crafted from plywood and pine, usually, depending on the materials at hand, we can get you back up and running.
Let us know the exterior dimensions of your box, not existing lid, so we can custom finish a telescoping beehive lid for you.

Single Deep or Medium Box

Maybe you have all you need with the exception of a single deep or medium box?
We can custom build to your Langstroth specs, either 8 or 10 frame, deep or medium. Boxes are butt-jointed with decking screws for extra strength as well as rabbited on the interior endsfor frame support.
We usually build with 3/4" pine, but other woods might be used on availability.
Order is for a single box only, can be treated with poly-urethane upon request for no additional fee. Item does not come with lid, base or anything else.
Langstroth Vivaldi Board
PICK UP / DELIVERY ONLY. NO SHIPPING AT THIS TIME.
These custom-made Vivaldi boards are built with customer-requested exterior dimension requirements, ensuring they fit your Langstroth hives perfectly. Let us know when ordering what your exterior measurements are for proper fitting.
Usually crafted from pine, they can also be made from whatever materials we have on hand. Each Vivaldi board is designed with three air holes on both the front and back, with a removable screened feeding board inside. Each board also comes with an appropriate addition of loose burlap to wick up moisture.
These are available for pick up at our shop, or we can deliver them within a reasonable distance. Please inquire before ordering if delivery is what you require.
