The grains in this board caught my eye when I was milling down the reclaimed maple. There's a gorgeous, natural flow deep within the wood that reminded me of cosmic storms. That's the Whovian in me speaking...
The true pleasure was working this cheeseboard to a final product that highlighted the flow, and I am proud to say, it came out better than I hoped.
The cheeseboard measures 9"x9", with rounded corners. The interior wood is comprised of reclaimed cocobolo and marble wood to give the grains in the maple more 'pop.' The cheeseboard is finished with a food-safe mineral oil for protection and sheen.
