'Shorty' Sunburst Spalted Maple Bowl

This spalted maple bowl was harvested 2 years ago from our property. The sunburst spalt has been wonderful to work with, culminating in a pair of bowls that showcase the pattern beautifully. It's sister bowl is a bit taller, with the same diameter.
Left with some live edge along the base, this bowl is quite tactile and a pleasure to hold.
Finished with a walnut polish, it is waterproof and food safe. As with any non-kiln dried woods, expect this bowl to 'move' slightly as it finishes drying into a slight oval shape.
