Hand turned macacauba spurtle.
A traditional Scottish kitchen implement, spurtles are used to stir porridge to ensure against clumping. We use ours for grits with the same result.
Spurtle measures 14" long, and is protected with a food-safe, beeswax and mineral oil finish.
