CUSTOM PORTFOLIO
We are often asked to craft custom items for clients and friends. Below are some of our most recent creations, and every one was a pleasure to work on. Each piece is carefully handcrafted from reclaimed wood- it's amazing how much wood is neglected when you start seeking it out. We have found countless board feet of exotic Malaysian Acacia along the roadside, milled slabs from fallen trees, maple slats recovered from discarded baby cribs and enough oak and pine to start our own (small) lumber company.
Waste is something we have little tolerance for, and this principle flows through each unique item we craft. Our philosophy of using reclaimed wood whenever possible means that no two pieces will ever be the same. Each item's material is selected for it's sustainability as well as it's grain and color.
Many of our custom pieces start with a simple question, 'Can you make me one of these?' Often times, the answer is 'Yes!'
We've built baby doll cribs, free-standing stocking Christmas hangers, cauldron spoons, bathroom signs, wood-burned art, toys, pantry shelving, bookcases, nightstands, keepsake boxes, chess cabinets, checker boards, puzzles, specialized beehives, garden sheds, and a whole host of other fantastic creations.
